Workshop on stroke rehabilitation held

Physionovum in collaboration with Voluntary Medicare Society conducted one day workshop on hands on stroke rehabilitation here. 

The organisers in a statement said students of physiotherapy and practitioners attended the workshop. The workshop was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Mir Muhammad Maqbool, retired prof, ENT. On the occasion, Dr Mir said such workshops should be frequently held to keep the physio practitioners up to date with the advances in medical science, technology and techniques especially in stroke rehabilitation. “The number of such cases is on rise due to sedentary lifestyle, stress  and food habits,” he added. 

Experts who delivered the lectures and demonstration on the hands on stroke rehabilitation included Dr Manpreet Singh from AIIMS New Delhi and Dr Nayeem u Zia from J&K Health services .
