Shivpora residents demand resumption of mini-bus service

The inhabitants of Shivpora appealed divisional commissioner Kashmir and deputy commissioner Srinagar to intervene in resumption of mini bus service to the area.

A delegation of locals told Greater Kashmir that public transport to the area was stopped over a month ago. They said in absence of public transport, the local population including employees, traders and student community is facing immense hardships.

"Due to non-availability of public transport, we have no option but to hire auto-rickshaws who charge arbitrarily," the delegation said.
