Police today arrested a person at Lal Bazar are here and recovered 50 bottles of codeine phosphate from his possession.   

“In its continuous drive against drugs, a routine naka was laid by SHO police station Lal Bazar and his team under the supervision of SDPO Hazratbal Srinagar at Gulshan Bagh Lal Bazar. During naka checking, one person namely Irfan Rashid Rather son of Abdul Rashid Rather, of Chanapora Alnoor Colony was arrested and 50 bottles of codiene phosphate were recovered from his possession,” police said in a statement. 

The statement said in this regard a case FIR No 13/2018,U/S 8/22 NDPS Act stands registered in the police station Lal bazar and investigation taken up.
