In line with the directions of the Chief Secretary with regard to the removal of bottlenecks facilitating the implementation of various NBBC projects in the district, District Development Commissioner Srinagar Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah Wednesday convened a meeting to review the status of various projects executed under AMRUT.

Regarding the construction of Sluice Chamber at Alamgari Bazar, the DDC assured that funds to the tune of Rs 45 lacs will be released soon as instructed by the Chief Secretary. He directed the Joint Director Planning, Development & Monitoring Department to submit a proposal in this regard for the early redress of the issue.

Discussing the removal of shops at Onta Bhawan and the rehabilitation of displaced shopkeepers, the DDC directed the concerned for submitting all relevant records of the proposed land of rehabilitation at the earliest.
