Hosts Goa dominated the first days play against J&K in the Under-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy tournament match at Sanguem Cricket Gound on Friday.

Despite Moomin Mansoor giving J&K a great start by taking three wickets with Goa score only on 56 runs the initiative was lost as A Shigwan and VG Kahlon put on 123 run stand between them for the fifth wicket. Shigwan got out after scoring 89 runs. Kahlon then in the middle was joined by M M Kasana.
