J&K Under-16 side bundled out for 72 runs in first inning on the first day of the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy tournament match on Monday.

Hosts Haryana won the toss and invited J&K to bat first. The decision proved right as J&K batsman failed to stay in the middle. The whole team got out for 72 runs. Mohammad Manzir with 24 was highest scorer for them.

In reply, Haryana were going strong in its first inning at the end of first days play. The hosts have already posted 250 runs for the loss of one wicket. Sagar Dahiya was batting on 141 runs while as Vivek Yadav scored 65. Haryana have already got the lead of 178 runs.
