Kumail Ansari was today re-elected as president of the Hyderya Cricket Club (HCC).

The Club held elections for the new office bearers for the period of two years.

The elections were held at its Srinagar office, under the supervision of Abdul Rashid, former additional secretary law, and other officials including Aga Syed Altaf Kazmi as election observers.

Kumail Ansari was declared patron and president while Younis Haroon was elected vice-president, Sahil Bashir Bhat secretary general, Mirza Musadiq chairman and Liyaqat Rasool as publicity in charge and spokesperson of the club.

The office of HCC had received at least 20 nominations for eight posts including president, vice president, chairman, secretary general and publicity in-charge. 

The newly elected office bearers pledged to work for the progress of the players and members and vowed to take the cub to new heights.
