Rajouri school seeks restoration of damaged water supply connection

The Government High School in Rajouri district is facing drinking water shortage after water supply to the school was damaged by some locals putting staff and students in immense hardships.

The water connection to the school located at Thandikassi with roll of over 300 students was damaged by some locals, and later water pipes of the school were also stolen away.

The management of the school said they have many times brought this issue into the notice of concerned authorities; however their repeated pleas were repeatedly turned down.

Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Rajouri Division, Nisar Khan said issue will be soon sorted out.

“We have flouted an indent for new pipes.The issue will be resolved soon,” said Khan. GKNN
