14 injured in separate accidents at Rajouri

Fourteen persons were today injured in twin road accidents in Rajouri.

As per official reports, a truck bearing registration number JK02R 6567 which was on its way to Rajouri from Peeri plunged into gorge near Sankari Kote Dhara leaving nine persons injured. 

"The injured were shifted to district hospital where they are undergoing treatment," reports revealed. 

They have been identified as Javid Shah, Zakir Shah, Mohd Liyaqit, Talab Hussain, Najma Kouser, Razia Begum, Kaniz Fatima, Imtiyaz Shah and Abdul Aziz, all residents of Kotedhara.  

Similarly, five persons sustained injuries when a car and an auto collided head on at Palma village in Rajouri.  

Details revealed that auto bearing registration number JK11 1531 and Alto Car bearing registration number JK01D 9645 collided head on at Palma village of Rajouri in which five persons sustained injuries. 

They were shifted to district hospital Rajouri and are undergoing treatment. 

The injured have been identified as Rakis Begum, Mumtaz Begum, Wajid Ali, Mohd Basharat and Mohd Shabir.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter.
