Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the flagship summit+ , organised by India in partnership with the US, on November 28. In its eighth edition, the GES is for the first time being held in India, with Hyderabad winning the bid to host over four other cities.

Ivanka will be leading a high-profile US delegation that will highlight the theme 'Women First, Prosperity for All', and focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally.

Though the focus will be on four innovative, highgrowth industries — healthcare and life sciences, digital economy and financial technology, energy and infrastructure, and media and entertainment, there will also be discussions on a range of subjects, including 'From Hollywood to Nollywood (Nigeria) to Bollywood'.

The meet will be addressed by speakers from around 40 countries with diverse backgrounds, and have participants from around 100 countries. Industry leaders such as John Chambers and others like Fairfax boss Prem Watsa, known for value-investing, will share their thoughts. MIT professor Carlo Ratti and Stanford's Manu Prakash and Jonathan Levin are among the panelists who will discuss and debate innovative entrepreneurial solutions to the the world.

A series of workshops, interactive sessions, panel discussions and keynote speeches will also be held at the summit, which will also offer a platform for compact networking.

Prominent unicorns such as Amazon, besides PayTM's Vijay Shekhar Sharma, OYO Rooms' Ritesh Aggarwal and corporate leaders in innovation such as Bosch, Siemens, Mercedes, and self-made influencers such as Chatri Sityodtong, founder of One FC, and Michelin -star chef Vikas Khanna, will share their thoughts at the summit.
