Yasin Malik pays tributes to slain militants

Paying rich tributes to the three militants who were slain in a gunfight at Hakura, Islamabad (Anantnag), the incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik today said, “New Delhi and state rulers choked every space for peaceful protest and political activities, pushing these budding flowers to the wall.”

“Now, New Delhi has engaged thousands of its armed forces to kill these young Kashmiris with impunity,” a spokesman of the Front, in a statement today, quoted Yasin Malik as having said prior to his arrest.

Expressing condolences with the bereaved families of these slain youth, Yasin Malik prayed for their Sabr-i- Jamil.

Meanwhile, a delegation of JKLF leaders visited Soura and participated in the funeral prayers of slain Eesa Fazli.  Leaders met the bereaved family members and expressed solidarity with them.

Meanwhile, the spokesman has paid rich tributes to its slain activists Fayaz Ahmad Dar and Mehraj- ud-Din Usman on their anniversary. Recalling the struggle and sacrifices of the duo, JKLF, in a statement said, “These martyrs sacrificed their today for the betterment of our tomorrow. These youth embraced martyrdom in 1990. They were real warriors whose sacrifices can never be forgotten.”
