Three soldiers missing after avalanche hits army camp in north Kashmir

An official said that three soldiers of army''s 36 RRunit stationed at Baktore are missing since last night after an avanlanche hit the army camp.

Three army soldiers went missing late last night after an avalanche hit an army camp in Baktore area of Gurez in notth Kashmir's Bandipora district following heavy snowfall in the area.


An official said that three soldiers of army's 36 RRunit stationed at Baktore are missing since last night after an avanlanche hit the army camp.

He said that more than five feet snow has accumulated as it is snowing continuously since Sunday.

The official said that rescue operation has been launched to trace the missing army soldiers.
