Police seeks public help to trace missing Kangan boy

Two days after a youth went missing from here, the police on Thursday sought help from the public to trace his whereabouts.

Shakeel Ahmad Awan (24) as per his family had left home at Satruna village of the district on Tuesday morning and did not return back.

The family added that his (Shakeel’s) phone also went switched off hours after he went missing.

"We have failed to locate him. We approached Police station Kangan and lodged missing report,” said a relative of Shakeel.

Shakeel has completed his graduation and as per his family he was preparing for post graduate entrance examination.

A police official said they have launched hunt to trace out the missing youth.

Meanwhile, police appealed public to inform them on below given numbers in case they have any information of the missing youth and also said he was wearing blue khan dress on the day he went missing.
