Mirwaiz decries ‘politics of hate’

Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Tuesday condemned the killing of a Muslim man in Rajasthan by “fanatics” stating that “politics of hate and polarisation is deliberately being promoted.”

“Muslims across India are targeted for the electoral dividends,” Mirwaiz said in a statement condemning the lynching of Umar Khan in Alwar Rajasthan.

“Politics of hate and polarisation is being deliberately promoted and promulgated for electoral dividends and Muslims across India made its target in a well-planned manner,” Mirwaiz said.

He urged the world human rights organisations to take strong note of this “carnage” of Muslim under the “garb of cow protection.”

“Indian leadership is duty bound to ensure the safety and security of Indian Muslims across the country.

Meanwhile, Mirwaiz expressed sorrow and grief at the death and trail of destruction left behind by the deadly on Iran Iraq border.

“Entire Kashmiri nation is deeply grieved at this tragedy. Mirwaiz prayed for their speedy recovery of those injured in the quake,” he said.

Meanwhile, APHC spokesman paid rich tributes to two militants Ashiq Hussain Bhat of Palhallan and Toib Majeed of Brath Kalan, Sopore stating that “due to the rigid and brutal approach of New Delhi, Kashmiri youth are turning in large numbers from a peaceful means of struggle to armed resistance and getting killed which is sad and painful.”

The spokesman condemned the CASO in south and north Kashmir villages terming it “deliberate attempt by forces to instill fear among the local populace.”

“During the CASOs, local population is being harassed and property vandalized, which is highly condemnable,” he said.
