India, Pakistan armies trade fire along LoC in north Kashmir’s Tangdhar

An official said that the Pakistani troops targeted Indian army posts at Sadpora, Dhani, Amru areas in Tangdhar around 3:30 PM.

The armies of India and Pakistan on Friday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district, police said.

An official said that the Pakistani troops targeted Indian army posts at Sadpora, Dhani, Amru areas in Tangdhar around 3:30 PM.

The Indian Army, he said, retaliated effectively and strongly.

However, there was no report of any casualties on either side in the exchange of fire which was going on when last reports came.
