The family of a Srinagar man who needed financial help for kidney transplant has requested people to stop the donations as they have received the money required to fund his treatment.

Imtiyaz Ahmed Farzi, 35, from Srinagar's Sonawar locality, is undergoing treatment at a Delhi hospital, family said on Monday. 

Darzi's father thanked people for the financial help.

"I am thankful to all the people for their help. We have got the required sum in our bank account number 0048040100010800. We don’t need any more donations,” said Ali Mohammad Darzi, the father of the patient.
