Jammu and Kashmir government promoted seven degree holder and eleven diploma holder junior   engineers   (civil) on stop gap arrangement.

As per a government order number 333 –PW (Hyd) of 2018, dated September 24 sanction has been accorded to the placement of following junior engineers (Civil), degree and diploma holders as in-charge assistant engineers (Civil) in their own pay and grade with charge allowance as admissible under rules, as stop gap arrangement.

Parvez Akhter posted in Irrigation Division Rajouri, Rajeshwar Kumar posted in Hyd. Division Kishtwar, Manzoor Ahmad Mir posted in Tourism Department,  Javeed Iqbal Ganie posted  in I&FC Division Sopore, Rohit Sharma posted in I&FC Division Bhaderwah, Ghulam  Hassan Najar posted in PHE Division Baramulla and Mohammad Farooq posted in PHE Division Poonch are among degree holders promoted officers.

While the diploma holders promotes are Parvez Ahmad Wani, Bahu-Ud-Din, Rajinder  Kumar Gandotra,  Nissar Ahmad Akhoon, Paramjeet Singh, Irshad  Ahmad Akhoon, Mushtaq  Ahmad Malik, Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai, ManMohan Wazir, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah and Muzamil Hussain.

 The order further said that placement are temporary and on stop gap basis and subject to outcome of writ petition, if any, pending before any competent court. It also not create any right, interest or equity in favour of the officer as and when considered on substantive basis through DPC/PSC.

Their inter-se seniority shall be determined separately as per rules. In case the placement is seized by any event the incumbent shall not any claim the benefit of equivalent post and shall be reverted to the level of JE in the department. They shall continue to work at their present place of posting till further orders.
