To boost the party workers and prepare them for forthcoming assembly and parliamentary polls, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a workers meeting at Bhaderwah on Thursday.

The meeting was organised by PDP zonal president, Bhaderwah, Thakur Yudhvir Singh, wherein office bearers from different areas participated.

On the occasion, several youth from Bhaderwah and its adjoining areas joined the party as well.

While addressing the gathering, Singh assured the newly joined members that PDP is committed to work for all communities and he will be always available for all, on all fronts. “PDP is the only political party in state who want to uplift the people and redress their grievances,” he claimed.

"Those questioning Mehbooba Mufti and her reach out to the masses, must introspect and tell people why they have failed to reach out to the masses, while being in the opposition," he said, adding, “Mehbooba Mufti has proved that she is the only true representative of the people, while the rest of the political parties only focus on electorates and power."

PDP district vice-president Rajat Sharma and Pardeep Dutt also spoke on the occasion.

Parshotam Singh, Devender Kumar, Ranjeet Singh, Amit Kumar, Kiran Kumar, Gian Chand, Hans Raj, Sher Singh, Mohinder Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Mohammad Ramzan, Farooq Ahmed and Junaid Butt joined the party fold on the occasion.
