Protests erupt in Banihal after forces’ vehicle hits pedestrian

Reports said that people took to streets after the pedestrian was hit by a forces’ vehicle near highway town of Banihal.

Protests erupted in Banihal town of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday after a forces’ vehicle hit a pedestrian.

Reports said that people took to streets after the pedestrian was hit by a forces’ vehicle near highway town of Banihal.

They said that youth pelted stones on the forces who responded by firing their guns in the air.

At least four persons were injured in the protests, they said.
