J&K senior women’s cricket team, who had to spend 12 hours at airport and hectic travel, suffered nine-wicket defeat against Punjab in the match of the T20 League-2018-19 at MBB Stadium Agartala.

Batting first, J&K were able to score only 61 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted overs. Nadia Chowdhary with12 runs was highest scorer for them. In reply Punjab achieved target for the loss of one wicket. Jasia Akhtar who is from J&K but plays for Punjab scored 32 runs not out off 30 balls while as Amarpal Kaur scored unbeaten 28 from 23. For J&K, only wicket taken was by Sarla Devi.
